Acton Community Forum's AGM, Monday 22nd January 2018 from 6.30 pm at the Community Centre, 5-11 Hanbury Road, W3 8… https://t.co/uqifOyliUs
Acton Community Forum (ACF) addresses the holistic issues of the deprived Acton Wards and estates of the London Borough of Ealing. ACF’s mission has been to empower local residents to solve their problems and improve the area’s quality of life. Our aims are to develop community capacity, rebuild social capital and bring the talents and diversity of the area together to participate in Acton’s regeneration.
To do this we bring together and support local residents and grassroots organisations, and serve as an enabling gateway between them and Ealing Council, Councillors and MPs, RSLs, the Local Strategic Partnership, and mainstream and statutory providers.
We also provide a wide range of direct services, both on our own and with a wide variety of partners—local residents and volunteers, grassroots voluntary groups, statutory and mainstream providers, Ealing Council, and others…numbering 150 over the past year.
WHAT WE DO
Supporting Actonians to make the area a better place is our primary area of work, which we accomplish through:
